A zoo prepares for Zoo Day. But things do not go according to plan. The llamas won't quit spitting; the giraffes are drooling; and the zebras aren't happy at all with their stripes! Meanwhile, the zookeepers scurry this way and that, clean up poop, ring mealtime bells, and try to get the animals bathed. Will the zookeeper end up spending the night at the zoo? Will Zoo Day go off without a hitch, or will the dancing monkeys take over? This fun story is an adaptation of the classic, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

A little boy observes his father crossing the street, running outside in the rain, mowing the grass, riding his bike and diving into the ocean. The boy has great admiration for his father and everything his father does seems extraordinary to him. When the boy's father hugs him and throws him in the air, the boy feels very special and loved.

Emeline's second grade class takes a field trip to the circus. After the teacher, Mrs. Splinter, gives the class instructions on the proper behavior, the circus begins. Mrs. Splinter tells the class important information about everything they see at the circus icluding the elephants, tigers, acrobats, and even the clowns. In the meantime, Emeline gets out of her seat to buy some peanuts and an elephant picks her up to become part of the circus.
