How to Plan a Healthy Diet for Healthy Minds
by Megan Beyer and Andy Bowyer
I believe that I can change my eating habits by setting goals to eat more fruits and vegetables every day.
I set a goal to eat two cups of fruit a day because I know that it will make me feel more energetic at school.
I set a goal to drink milk every day because it will give me the calcium I need for my bones to become strong so I can play at recess and not get hurt.
I set a goal to talk with my parents about buying healthier food options because we will be a healthier family.
I set a goal to drink more water during the day instead of pop and encourage my friends to do so as well because our bodies will feel better and we will be able pay more attention at school.
I set a goal to talk to my classmates about eating healthier because I know that when we eat better we will be more focused in school.
I set a goal with my 3 best friends to eat more fruits and vegetables because fresh foods will boost our immune system and get sick less often.
I believe that I can make improvements in my diet by setting goals for what healthy foods I will eat during the day.
Summary
I have made the decision to improve my diet!
How about YOU?
Have you decided too?
