Preventative Screenings for a Healthy Life
By Samantha Bettinger

I believe I will be healthier by making decisions to go to the doctor regularly.

I make a decision to get blood work done to monitor my health.

I make a decision to get a mammogram when I am 40 years old to watch for breast cancer.

I make a decision to get a pelvic exam regularly to check for any abnormalities like a-typical cells or abnormal lumps.

I make a decision to check my blood pressure with my housemates everyday to see if it is healthy.

I make a decision to check my weight with my nurse once a week to see if there are any major changes.

I make a decision to get a stress test with my family members who are over the age of 40.

I believe I will be healthier by deciding to talk to my doctor when I have a concern.

Summary
I’ve made the decision to get preventative screenings for a healthy life.
How about you?
Have you made a decision too?
