Feeling and Emotions
Feelings, also called emotions, are the different ways we feel during our day. There are many feelings and we all feel them for many different reasons!
HAPPY
I feel happy when my dog wants to play with me. When do you feel happy?
EXCITED
I feel excited when it is time for me to open birthday presents! When do you feel excited?
NERVOUS
I feel nervous when I have to go to the doctor's office. When do you feel nervous?
SAD
I feel sad when it rains and I can not play outside. When do you feel sad?
SYMPATHETIC
I feel sympathetic when my friends get hurt because I have been hurt before. When do you feel sympathetic?
RELAXED
I feel relaxed when I have no homework on the weekend. When do you feel relaxed?
EMBARRASSED
I feel embarrassed when I fall down. When do you feel embarrassed?
GROUCHY
I feel grouchy when I can not sleep. When do you feel grouchy?
LOVING
I feel loving when I get a hug. When do you feel loving?
ANGRY
I feel angry when my brother or sister takes my toy from me. When do you feel angry?
FRUSTRATED
I feel frustrated when my mom says I can not have a friend come over. When do you feel frustrated?
HELPFUL
I feel helpful when I clean my room. When do you feel helpful?
DISAPPOINTED
I feel disappointed when my  team does not win. When do you feel disappointed?
CLEVER
I feel clever when I think of a funny joke. When do you feel clever?
WORRIED
I feel worried when I have a test I did not study for. When do you feel worried?
SURPRISED
I feel surprised when I have a snow day. When do you feel surprised?
IMPORTANT
I feel important when it is time for my birthday. When do you feel important?
CURIOUS
I feel curious when I see words I do not know. When do you feel curious?
Feeling and Emotions
There are many feelings we all feel each day. All feelings are ok to feel and make us who we are. What feelings have you felt today?
