Decisions, Decisions…
By Tim Chasteen & Abby Lauter

Do you know that you use your brain to make lots of decisions everyday?
If you did not use your brain to make decisions, you might end up doing something really silly!
When you get dressed in the morning, do you decide to put your shoes on with your hands or your teeth?
When you eat breakfast, do you decide to put the food in your mouth or your eye?
When you walk to school, do you decide to use your feet or your hands?
When you sit at your desk, do you decide to sit on your bottom or back?
When you color or draw a picture, do your decide to use your fingers or toes?
When you swing on the monkey bars, do you decide to use your arms or legs?
When you put on your backpack, do you decide to place it on your back or chest?
When you leave school do you decide to say, “goodbye” to your teacher or your pencil?
When you lie down for bed, do you decide to put your head or knees on your pillow?
See! You use your brain to make lots of decisions everyday.
If you did not use your brain to make decisions, who knows what kind of silly things you might do!
