Making Daily Food Serving Decisions!
By Nicola Kiela

I believe that I can change my eating habits by deciding to eat 5 small meals a day.

I decide to eat 3 servings of fruit each day because it gives me vitamins to stay healthy.

I decide to use my hand as a reference for the appropriate 3 ounce serving size for lean meats so I know how much to eat.

I decide to use a smaller plate with the correct serving size because it will help me maintain a healthy body weight.

I decide to make dinner with my friends when I am hungry instead of eating big portions at a restaurant.

I decide to talk to my family about serving sizes because they want to be healthier too.

I decide to bring lunch to school with my best friend so we can can avoid unhealthy snacking.

I believe that I can eat healthier by deciding to measure my serving sizes before each meal.

Summary
I’ve made the decision to eat the correct serving sizes.
How about you?
Have you made a decision too?
