Let Me Show You What I Want

This is my body! Different parts of my body help me to show what I want or need. I like to use my arms to hug my parents.
What body parts do you use to show things you want or need? How do you use them?

These are my eyes. I can show anger, excitement, sadness, or happiness with them. Can you tell what emotion I’m expressing in this photo?

My ears help me to hear, and they can also help me show when sounds are too loud! What are some ways you use your ears?

My mouth helps me to express myself in many ways. I can talk, scream, shout, whisper, smile, frown, and show excitement! I can also use my mouth to taste different foods which is one of the five senses!

My hands help me do all kinds of things. I can build, play, point, hold things, and wave hello and goodbye. My sense of touch and feel are in my hands. What are some different things you can touch and feel with your hands that are soft? That are scratchy? That are cold? That are hot?

With my feet, I can walk, run, jump, hop, skip, and gallop! I have five toes on each foot. How many toes do I have altogether? How do you use your feet to get exercise?

I can shrug my shoulders to show uncertainty. This lets my mom know I do not understand something. She helps me by explaining it to me.

I can use my finger to point at things I want or to have someone look in the direction I want them to. What are some things you might point at?
