I Can Make Healthy Decisions!
by Shannon Landsberg & Katey Bundy

When it is nice outside, I decide to play ball.
I decide to get my friends together to start a game of kickball.
I decide to use my legs to run the bases.
I decide to be a good sport when my team gets out and high five the other team with my hand.
I decide to have a snack and drink water with my mouth and hands after the game.
I decide to wait thirty minutes before I go swimming.
I decide it is safe to swim after thirty minutes.
I decide to let my friend go in front of me in line.
I decide to wait until it is safe to dive in “head first” into the pool.
After a long day outside, I decide it is time to eat dinner.
I decide I need a healthy meal of vegetables, grains, and meat.
I am tired so I decide to go to sleep early by closing my eyes.
