Habits of Mind: Stress Management

Sometimes in school, I get overwhelmed
and stressed with all my work.
There are many ways I deal with reducing my stress.
Read on to find out!
Hay muchas maneras me ocupo de reducir mi
estrés-sigue leyendo para averiguarlo!

I hold hands with my friends to play games, and this helps me relieve my stress.
I work on environmental projects with classmates to split up the workload.
I release energy by running to the ball and kicking it with my foot.
I close my eyes for a moment of silence to gather my thoughts.
I stretch my arms to the sky while doing yoga with my class.
I clear my mind through my movements in my dance class.
These are some activities that I do to help my mind reduce stress, and you can do them too!

Summary
There are many different ways to reduce stress.
Get involved with your friends and family.
Do something for your environment
Get centered: Have meaningful quiet time each day.
Be active: Exercise you mind and body!
