During their day, Alice and Aldo work their way through the alphabet. They do all kinds of fun things like quacking with the ducks, making milkshakes, and swinging over the flowers. By the end of the day Alice and Aldo are ready for bed.

Lucy falls asleep listening to the sounds of the night. Lucy was thinking about the arrival of her Grandma the next day. When Lucy wakes up, she finds herself in another world. Her house ia now located on an island. Throughout the day Lucy explores the atmosphere on the island.

God created the world with water, trees, land, animals, and people, and thought he had done a great job. God's angel Shaniqua told God that the world looked too boring. God then set out to make the world more interesting. First he made grass but that did not help much so God started singing and making beautiful music. When the flowers complained about being lonely, God called on Shaniqua to sing. Her voice was so pretty that the planets and starts started crying. The people on earth were very happy with their world and so was God.

Lilly's grandmother tells her about whales that use to sing when they were given a gift. When Lilly offers the whales a gift of a yellow flower, they sing to her.
