One duck gets stuck in the muck down by the marsh. Creatures by the marsh try to help him get free. Creatures come first two, then three, then adding one every time. No one can free the duck by themselves but as a team, the duck is freed.

The Tosis family has a dog named Hally. Hally is a wonderful dog except that she has very bad breath. When Mr. and Mrs. Tosis cannot take Hally's bad breath anymore they decide to give her away. The kids try to fix the problem by taking her to a mountain top to see the view, a movie, and a carnival to ride a roller coaster in the hopes that they will take Hally's bad breath away but nothing works. That night two burglars break into the house but when Hally kisses them the burglars pass out from the smell and Hally and her breath are, heroes!

A young boy, Timothy Cox, decides to go without changing his socks for a month. As the smell from his socks begins to grow, the entire community gets involved in trying to get him to change his socks. Timothy creatively avoids getting caught for the whole month. He aviods the fire fighters with their hoses and even a scout troop! When the month has come to an end, he keeps the socks in a cabinet as a trophy in his determination to stick to his word and not change his socks.
