I love being a healthy kid! Follow me and see how I make healthy food choices during my day! &#13;
&#13;
I know to be a healthy kid, I need to start my day with a nutritious breakfast.&#13;
&#13;
When I get to school, my class learns about healthy fruits and vegetables.&#13;
&#13;
At lunch, I remember to choose to drink milk, because I know it will help make my bones strong as I grow.&#13;
&#13;
At recess, I run and play with my friends.  &#13;
When I come inside, I am thirsty so I know to drink lots of water. &#13;
&#13;
I am hungry after my day at school. On the bus ride,&#13;
I can’t wait to get home and have my after school snack!&#13;
&#13;
I eat an apple and a cheese stick, so I can have energy to play with my friends before dinner.&#13;
&#13;
My Mom takes me to the grocery store to teach me how to pick colorful fruits and vegetables.&#13;
&#13;
My family uses the vegetables to cook a healthy meal together. &#13;
&#13;
Sometimes I get to choose what we eat for dinner.  One of my favorite foods is pizza!&#13;
&#13;
To make my pizza healthier, I add healthy toppings.&#13;
&#13;
For dessert, one of my favorite treats is frozen yogurt. Yum!&#13;

Choosing healthy foods is easy and fun. &#13;
