Have you ever had a fight with a friend? How did that make you feel? There are many ways to solve problems when you’re fighting with a friend. You must think of your do’s and don’ts! &#13;
&#13;
Don’t… Push, shove, hit, kick or bite your friend. These actions are harmful and can hurt your friend. &#13;
&#13;
Do… Keep your hands to yourself.&#13;
&#13;
Don’t… call your friend mean names even if you’re unhappy with them. Unkind words hurt feelings. &#13;
&#13;
Do… treat others how you would like to be treated. Speak to them how you would like to be spoken to. &#13;
&#13;
Don’t… ignore the problem. Ignoring it can create bigger problems. &#13;
&#13;
Do… talk about how you’re feeling with your friend and let them know why you’re upset. Be sure you listen to how they’re feeling, too!  &#13;
&#13;
Don’t… Yell at your friend. This will make the problem worse and harder to get solved. &#13;
&#13;
Do… Calmly speak to your friend using a respectful tone of voice. &#13;
&#13;
Solving problems is difficult at times but friends find ways to avoid angry feelings and actions by using their do’s and don’t for getting along. &#13;
&#13;
Remember that every problem has a solution! Be helpful not hurtful! &#13;
