Realistic and authentic photographs of active people model how to practice cognitive-motor skills leading to healthy behaviors and a higher quality of life. Bilingual story lines encourage people of all cultural backgrounds to interact and speak with others to promote healthy living in a variety of situations and environments. Electronic Texts for Health Literacy© demonstrate and promote the ongoing development of oral language, written language, and body language integration through Habits of Health and Habits of Mind (Ubbes, 2008).</text>

I look with my eyes to decide what to wear on the playground.
I tie my shoes on my feet so that I don’t trip.
I look with my eyes to see if it is someone else’s turn.
I go down the slide with my feet first.
I hold the chains with my hands when I swing.
I use my mouth to drink water when I get thirsty.
I use my legs to balance so that I don’t fall down.
When my legs get tired, I sit on the bench for a break.
I use my arms to share the ball with my friends.
I put a helmet on my head when I ride a bike.
I listen with my ears for when my teacher says that recess is over.
I wash my hands when I come inside from the playground.
Today on the playground I used 8 different body parts!
Eyes
Feet
Hands
Mouth
Leg
Arms
Head
