Monster and his friend plan and prepare for Monster's birthday party. Monster becomes sad when no one shows up because of the parents' fears of Monster. His sadness disappears after Monster saves people from a burning buildin, the parents' fears fade and the children come to his party.

Join Monster and a little boy as they take a ride on a bus. While Monster and the little boy are enjoying looking at the sights, the bus suddenly stops. The people on the bus are scared, but soon realize a dog is in the way and refuses to move. The people, bus driver, and policeman try to push and chase the dog away, but he does not want to get out of the way. Luckily, Monster steps in and scares the dog away, so everyone cheers, gets on the bus, and goes to their important destinations.

While running in a race with his friends, Monster trips over a stick and hurts his foot. Monster's friends advise him to go to the hospital. At the hospital a lady doctor cares for Monster; which is not an easy task due to his adnormally large size. The doctor determines that his foot is sprained and with the help of the children she is able to find a suitable crutch for Monster.

Jitterbug Jam is about a young monster who is afraid to deal with the scary boy under his bed! After a helpful story and piece of advice from his grandpa, or Boo-Dad, the little monster is brave enough to go under his bed, and later decides to make a friend.

Ma'antah is an exceptional girl who has many abilities, such as cooking and talking to animals. The villagers call her Sense Pass King because she has more sense than the king. The king is frustrated by her and tries to kill her but she outsmarts him. Later, she works in the palace and is able to make the country better.

Max gets sent to his room for creating mischief and talking back to his mother. He is sent there without dinner. While alone in his room, Max sets sail to an island where he tames the wild beasts and becomes king of the beasts. At the end of fun with the beasts, he sends them to bed with no supper and returns hoem where a hot meal awaits him.

Monster has a new-found hobby; painting! His inspired friends crowd into his house to try painting too. In order to avoid a mess, Monster invites his friends to go outside and paint an old brown wall in the city. Together, they create a beautiful mural of a park. It is eye-catching and makes everyone in the community happy!

Since the monster had an enjoyable and pleasant experience in the city, he decides to make it his home.

Monster enjoys a day of play with his friends and his magical umbrella. Monster and the little boy play games in the afternoon sun and make sure to follow good hygiene practices and sun safety by wearing hats and carrying a giant magical umbrella that provides protection from the sun. The monster's umbrella eventually, magically opens into a much larger umbrella filling with rain so all of the neighborhood children can play and cool off.

Monster and the little boy have too many pets. They try to build a house for all of them, but they need help. Lady monster and the little girl come to help and they all cooperate to build the animal house.

A cunning mouse is able to deceive a fox, owl, and a snake into thinking he has a gruffalo as a friend. Things look bad for the mouse when the gruffalo actually appears and wants him for a meal. Using his wits, the mouse is able to convince the gruffalo that he, the mouse, is the scariest creature in the woods.
